Board Members.

Jay Hoobler – President
Jay Hoobler graduated in 1985 from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Jay has been a member of the Southern Arizona NECA Board of Directors since 1998 and is now the Chapter President. In addition, he is a member of the Tucson Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Committee, where he serves as a trustee. Jay has worked for Commonwealth Electric since 1980. He is currently a Senior Vice President and oversees all construction operations for their Tucson office.

Jesse Towle – Secretary
Jesse Towle began his career with Sturgeon Electric in 1998 as an apprentice wireman. He completed the apprenticeship program in 2002 and continued working in the field for several years. In 2007, Jesse began a transition from a field position to a management role. He has operated and held several titles within the office, including: Estimator, Project Manager, Chief Estimator and currently, Operations Manager for Sturgeon Electric’s Tucson branch, of which also incorporates a small satellite office in Globe, AZ. Jesse currently serves as a trustee on the Tucson Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Committee and was recently added as a NECA Board Member for the Southern Arizona Chapter.

Dwight Price – Treasurer
Dwight Price brings with him 24 years of experience in the construction industry. He has developed his career with Cannon & Wendt over the past decade, assisting in a recent merger with Gilbert Electric. Price currently serves as a Board Member and Treasurer for NECA’s Southern Arizona Chapter. Price also sits on Cannon & Wendt’s Charity Committee, dedicated to giving back to both the Phoenix and Tucson communities that have supported the company for nearly 80 years.

Robert Stark – Vice President
Robert Stark graduated from the University of Arizona in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Management and Policy. He grew up in the electrical industry and is the fourth generation to be involved in the trade. Robert is currently the office manager for Stark Electric and has been on the NECA board since 2017. Robert oversees the drug testing program, safety, payroll, marketing, insurance, union reports, IT, accounts payable and receivable as office manager.

Louise Jones-Magee – Governer
Lousie Jones-Magee is the Regional Director of Sabino Electric with over thirty years in the industry, and a graduate of the University of Arizona with a dual bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance. Louise has been with Sabino Electric since 1995 and in addition to financial and administrative responsibilities, assumed responsibility for the TEGG service division in 2005, the remaining operations in 2017, and became Regional Director in 2025.
Louise currently sits on the TEGG Advisory Council and currently sits on the Southern Arizona NECA Board of Directors as Governer.
