Benefits
Short Term Disability.
IBEW-NECA Southwestern Health and Benefit Fund offers a weekly benefit of $250.00 beginning on the eighth day after you become disabled as a result of a non-occupational sickness or injury. The weekly benefits continue as long as you remain disabled, up to a maximum of 26 weeks.
This benefit is available to active participants covered under the full health plan of the IBEW- NECA Southwestern Health and Benefit Fund. It does not apply to participants covered under the Sub-Plans (B1 or B2).
To apply for the benefit, the Statement of Continuance of Disability form must be completed by your physician. To do so, you may:
